It was a warm magical day when you came into the world, and we first laid our eyes on you. You were as brilliant and radiant as the warm beach sun. When you first looked at us with those big warm blue eyes, you became our eternal prize. Our blissful gaze was as misty as the crisp clean spray of the ocean dancing in the morning breeze.
Your hands so small, fingers so tiny, and boy you should have seen that little hinney! The first time your little hands touched mine I felt a tingle go up and down my spine; but we knew we would all be just fine. When you were only but a baby we would often wonder what you were going to be, but looking in those big deep blue eyes we knew you were going to sail quite far.
Like the swell of the ocean waves you grew and grew and grew. The love and care you had was deeper then anything we have ever seen before. It would not even touch the dark depths of the ocean floor. And you proved this time in and time out even when your baby sister and brother would shout.
As the years went on so did you; and those big warm eyes became a cool ocean blue. When our eyes met as they often do, I find myself swimming through an oceanic sea of blue. As my thoughts drift, swirl and whined up on the shore I realize you are running across the floor.
In our ears we hear the roaring crash of the ocean. Over and over again we hear the rise and fall of the waves on the sandy shore. It is music to our ears then our eyes lock with a beautiful set of baby blues... it wasn't the ocean at all it was the beautiful sound of your laughter that was tickling our ears. Our ears are often tickled with this sweet sweet sound, because you have always been a real clown.
As the fading sun illuminates everything it touches on the warm beach, there is a golden silhouette dancing in the sand. Then stops but only for a moment to glance our way and the only thing that we are able to see is our golden child and those piercing ocean blue eyes.
